The Local Delivery Truck Driver delivers our products to residential and commercial construction sites in the greater Evansville area. The Local Delivery Truck Driver will follow routes that can typically be completed within a standard business day. This position is perfect for you if you enjoy working outdoors, driving trucks and helping people. There is no overnight or weekend driving required for this role.

Position Overview:

  • As a part-time delivery driver, you are the critical last step to transporting our products to our customers in a safe and timely manner. This part-time delivery driver position will work 2-3 days per week; 16-30hrs per week. Since we operate our business on trust and long-term relationships, you must be courteous and professional when interacting with our customers.

What You'll Do

  • Transport products to customers in a safe manner
  • Provide a positive experience to our customers
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Track the logistical details of your route
  • Complete both written and electronic delivery records
  • Follow applicable federal and state driving laws
  • Comply with company health and safety policies
  • Help with loading and unloading building materials
  • Capable of lifting and moving heavy objects

Required Qualifications

  • Valid chauffeur's license or for hire endorsement license required "not for hire"
  • Good driving record with no traffic violations.
  • Must be insurable by company's insurance program to utilize company vehicles.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
