The Opportunity:
As an expert in defense missions, your unique background inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don't. We need your extensive industry knowledge and advisory skills to solve some of our clients' most complex problems-and find solutions that keep our nation safe.
As an F-35 Operations Expert, you'll bring your leadership, consulting, and tactical and operational expertise to work alongside thought leaders in cyber, digital, engineering, and science projects for our DoD client. You'll advise DoD clients on the warfighter perspective in support of the planning, analysis, and development of fifth generation tactical aircraft capabilities to improve the future of the F-35 program.
You'll provide tactical understanding to inform system requirements, operational prioritization, pilot vehicle interface, and acquisition strategies. Evaluate system design and employment alternatives for their operational utility. You'll operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, you'll mentor or supervise employees in both company and technical competencies.

You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience in tactical aviation in the US military
  • Ability to assess intelligence reports to inform COAs for acquisition strategies
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with DoD requirements generation or budget processes
  • Experience as a qualified Fighter Pilot or Weapon Systems Officer
  • Experience with tactics development or operational planning
  • Experience with engineering
  • Knowledge of Special Access Programs
  • TS/SCI clearance

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
