As our Part-Time Event Security Agent, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety, security, and integrity of back-of-house (BOH) areas during events. We are seeking reliable, professional security personnel who are observant, courteous, and capable of professionally managing access control and de-escalating situations as they arise.

  • Complete incident reports and communicate with event supervisors.
  • Monitor the event level and back of house spaces for safety hazards.
  • Respond quickly to disturbances, accidents, and medical emergencies.
  • Evacuate tour personnel, staff, and guests in the case of fire alarms or threats following emergency protocols.

  • Help resolve client and guest complaints calmly and professionally.
  • Monitor BOH spaces, backstage, and restricted areas.
  • Check equipment and facilities before and after events.
  • Communicate with team members to clarify or resolve any data discrepancies.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, following company protocols.
  • Uphold the highest standards of discretion and professionalism in sensitive environments.

WE'D LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU:
  • Are available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasionally holidays, for events.
  • Possess or have the ability to obtain an Event and Entertainment Private Security Certification.
  • Demonstrate safe work habits and proper body mechanics when lifting or moving heavy objects and are able to walk or stand for 75% of your shift.
  • Have prior experience in security, law enforcement, customer service, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Are calm under pressure and able to respond effectively in high-stress or emergency situations.
  • Have the physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, and to perform patrols throughout the venue.
  • Are proficient in documenting incidents clearly and accurately.
  • Work well both independently and within a team environment.
  • Are committed to professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
