Position Summary
My Next Career Path Staffing is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Scheduling Coordinator to support a short-term assignment at Nevada State University in Henderson, NV. This part-time contract position will assist with scheduling campus events, coordinating logistics, and supporting event operations while learning and utilizing various campus scheduling platforms.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with event coordination or scheduling experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate and schedule campus events while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  2. Assist with event logistics and scheduling requests from internal departments.
  3. Learn and utilize campus scheduling and event management systems, including 25Live, Localist/Concept3D, Asana, and Social Tables.
  4. Maintain event calendars and ensure scheduling information is current and accurate.
  5. Communicate with campus partners regarding event schedules, updates, and changes.
  6. Manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Provide administrative and operational support to the event management team as needed.
Requirements / Qualifications
  1. Previous experience in event scheduling, event coordination, or a related administrative role.
  2. Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  3. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  4. Comfortable learning new technology and software applications.
  5. Experience with scheduling or event management software is preferred.
  6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Assignment Details
Location: On-site at Nevada State University – Henderson, NV
Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week, Monday through Thursday (approximately 5 hours per day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM)
Duration: Up to 2 months, with the possibility of a brief overlap while new employees are onboarded and trained.
Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
Start Date: As soon as possible (target start before July 31)
