Job Title: Event Coordinator - Part Time Contractor
Location: Outpatient clinic, Great Falls; community in GF
Assignment hours: 20-25 hrs/week, Tuesdays & Thursday's preferred
Assignment duration: During AEP & OEP, from now through March 2027 with possibility of becoming perm
Company Description
Greater Good Health is a community of healthcare providers, operators, and builders whose mission is to address health disparities and reimagine senior healthcare. To do this, we partner with payers to bring value-based primary care to underserved communities and work alongside risk-bearing organizations to develop innovative, value-based clinical programs - all designed exclusively for older adults and their unique healthcare needs. Grounded in our mission and core values, we are building a better, simpler healthcare experience for the patients we serve and the providers who care for them.
While providing more access to care, we understand that Nurse Practitioners need optimal work-life alignment to provide the best care for the greater good. GGH's goal is to support the modern-day healthcare professional to live fully in both their professional and personal lives.
If this vision resonates with you, we hope you consider bringing your passion, your energy, your curiosity to Greater Good Health.
The Role
As a part-time Specialist, Community Engagement at Greater Good Health, your primary focus will be on building and nurturing relationships within the community. You will represent Greater Good Health locally, executing community room events and building relationships with local insurance agents and community organizations to encourage individuals to seek care through Greater Good Health.
This role reports to the Community Engagement Specialist in Missoula, with day-to-day direction provided by the Great Falls Clinic Manager. Event and outreach planning is largely provided for you - your focus is on strong execution and relationship-building, not designing outreach strategy from scratch.
Responsibilities:
  • Build relationships with local insurance agents and community organizations (ancillary providers, senior living communities, etc.) to build awareness of GGH and encourage referrals - through activities like flyering, swag distribution, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Serve as the on-the-ground host for community room events in the clinic, including greeting and signing in attendees, coordinating day-of logistics, and setting up and breaking down events. Planning support is provided by the Missoula Community Engagement Specialist; your role is execution.
  • Represent GGH at select local events (e.g., community fairs, partner events) as directed, acting as an on-site point of contact.
  • Track and report on community engagement activity - number of events hosted, community organizations and insurance agents engaged - to support the broader outreach strategy.
  • Help maintain visibility of GGH within the local community by bringing and setting up promotional materials (tents, banners, tables, chairs) at events.

Minimum qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships and representing GGH in the community.
  • Ability to coordinate events and manage logistics, from setup to breakdown.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to track and analyze outreach efforts to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Comfortable working independently and interacting with various local stakeholders such as healthcare providers, legislators, and community leaders.
  • Ability to work outside of regular office hours, including evenings and weekends, to attend community events.

Preferred qualifications
  • Previous experience in community outreach or event coordination.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry or working with senior care facilities.
  • Experience with social media management is a bonus (Facebook or other platforms).

Physical Requirements:
  • Able to work outdoors
  • Comfortable with physical labor, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Licensed driver and willing to work all over MT
  • Willing to drive your personal vehicle around town (within 15mi of clinic) as part of your responsibilities.
  • Willing to work one weekend day most weekends (with a flexible weekly schedule outside of events)

Don't check off every box in the requirements listed above? Please apply anyway! Studies have shown that marginalized communities - such as women, LGBTQ+ and people of color - are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. GGH is dedicated to building an inclusive, diverse, equitable, and accessible workplace that fosters a sense of belonging - so if you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to still consider applying. You may be just the right candidate for this role or another one of our openings!
Pay Range: $18 - $22 per hour
