Summary of Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
  • Prepare the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure the condiments are refilled, performing all other preparation tasks.
  • Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu changes, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items...etc.
  • Maintain proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.
  • Prepare mixed drinks (as appropriate) for service to customer's table.
  • Open and pour wine at the tableside.
  • Accept payments, issues receipts, and returns change.
  • Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
  • Assist with special events as needed.
  • Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Prefer high school diploma or equivalent
  • Some familiarity with basic cooking skills
  • Previous serving experience preferred
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Positive interpersonal skills
  • Current food handlers permit
