Event Marketing & Brand Ambassador
Pay: $20/hour + $40 per qualified appointment booked Additional Compensation: Performance bonuses, spiffs, contests, and incentive opportunities
Position Overview
We are seeking an outgoing, dependable, and motivated Event Marketing & Brand Ambassador to represent our company at home shows, trade shows, community events, and local expos. The primary responsibility of this role is engaging with event attendees, generating interest in our services, and scheduling appointments for our sales team.
This position is ideal for individuals with backgrounds in sales, hospitality, food & beverage, retail, customer service, or other customer-facing roles where building relationships and earning performance-based incentives are part of the job.
This is a part-time, event-based position that requires availability on most weekends, as the majority of trade shows and home shows take place on Saturdays and Sundays.
Responsibilities
  • Represent the company professionally at trade shows, home shows, and community events.
  • Engage attendees and confidently start conversations with prospective customers.
  • Generate interest in our roofing and exterior services.
  • Schedule qualified appointments for our sales team.
  • Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming booth presence.
  • Transport, set up, and break down event materials, displays, and equipment.
  • Accurately collect customer information and appointment details.
  • Arrive early for event setup and remain through event breakdown.
  • Help create a positive and memorable experience for potential customers.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in sales, hospitality, food & beverage, retail, event marketing, promotions, or customer service preferred.
  • Comfortable approaching strangers and initiating conversations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Experience working in commission or incentive-based environments is a plus.
  • Roofing or home improvement knowledge is preferred but not required.
  • Dependable, professional, and punctual.

Physical & Transportation Requirements
  • Must have reliable transportation capable of transporting event equipment, including folding tables, displays, roofing samples, and marketing materials.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in Florida weather during events.
  • Availability to work most weekends and occasional weekday events as needed.
