The DuPont Country Club, nestled within the rolling hills of the historic Brandywine Valley, is one of the premier venues to promote leisure activities through championship caliber golf courses, state of the art tennis facilities, pool, and an updated fitness center. Elegantly decorated rooms, magnificent natural surroundings, customized event planning and impeccable service make any event at the DuPont Country Club truly a special occasion.
The DuPont Country Club is currently looking for a part-time Experienced Bartender to join our team and focus on providing the highest quality of service for our membership in our 1920 Restaurant and Legends Bar. The responsibilities for this role will include but are not limited to ability to mix all drinks in the bar, as well as provide service to servers on the shift in a timely fashion. Bartender should be fully knowledgeable of all the wines, beer and spirits offered in our bar to better be able to serve our guests.
This is a year round position. Candidates must be able to work all year to be considered.
Competitive pay rate - $8.21 per hour plus tips (minimum 15% guaranteed)
The successful candidate will have/be:
  • Bartender experience is required
  • Must be (21) years of age to mix drinks.
  • Must be DE ABCC certified to work in bar.
  • Working knowledge of products and brands provided at the bar.
  • Working knowledge of drink recipes and garnishes required for cocktails offered.
  • Working Knowledge of wine lists.
