LocationOverview

Primary responsibility is to support banquet operations and the banquet leadership team. Secondary responsibilities include assisting with Food & Beverage operations as business needs require. Support in these areas will be based on operational demands and business levels.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise banquet staff during setup, service, and breakdown.
  • Ownership of Menus, labels, and BEO's.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and event planners for seamless execution.
  • Ensure all event spaces are properly arranged and maintained.
  • Holiday buffet planning.
  • Creating and placing directional signs.
  • Address Guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide training as needed.
  • Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment.
  • Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Prepare event reports and communicate feedback to management.
  • Manage staff schedules and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Oversee the flow of service to ensure Guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with banquet requisitions, payroll, organizing schedules, and SOP's. 
  • Staffing Meetings.
  • Completeing hotel safety trainers.
Qualifications
  • Computer experience preferred word and excel.
  • Payroll experience is a plus; otherwise, training is available. We use Dayforce.
  • Banquet check posting and editing systems are Salesforce and Opera.
  • Communication skills and building relationships with other departments

  • Experience in banquets (captains or supervisors preferred in the hospitality industry)
