Warehouse Associate Part-Time (Evening Shift)
Description:

Working at our distribution warehouse in Norwood, MA, M.S. Walker's operations team ensures that all of our product orders are picked, prepared, and loaded onto our trucks efficiently and accurately. As a Warehouse Associate you can expect to be on your feet and busy throughout your shift, but also enjoy fantastic perks like an onsite refrigerator with free Gatorade, $150 boot allowance, and guaranteed annual pay increases.
Shift Available: Evening Shift: Mondays - Thursdays 3 to 4 hour shifts with a flexible schedule between the hours of 6:00 pm and 6:30 am
OR Mondays amp; Tuesdays 10 hour shifts 8:30 pm - 6:30 am
* Bonus: $300 at 30 calendar days, $400 at 60 calendar days, and $500 upon joining the Union (estimated 4 months of work)

Responsibilities:
  • Pick cases to pallet or conveyor and/or from warehouse shelves by hand or with a forklift
  • Unload trucks and move product throughout the warehouse using a forklift or electric pallet jack
  • Load trucks with picked product in efficient manner to be sent out for delivery
  • Take and understand verbal direction from management while performing tasks
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner adhering to OSHA compliant standards and Federal/State regulations
  • Comply with M.S Walker, Inc. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 18 years old with the ability to follow all job requirements and safety guidelines
  • Experience safely operating warehouse equipment (Forklifts, Order Pickers, and Pallet Jacks) preferred, but we will train for the right candidates!
  • Ability to recognize and distinguish product both visually and in writing
  • Physical Requirements include, but are not limited to:
    • Long periods of walking, standing, bending, and heavy lifting
    • Ability to lift single cases weighing up to 45 lbs. repeatedly and for long durations of time

Pay Range: The starting pay for this position is $19 per hour with annual raises for union employees based on the union contract.
