Founded in 1989 by Dr. Lucie Beaupré and currently under the medical direction of Dr. Jason Leclair, Medicart Vein & Aesthetics Clinic Ottawa (Dr. Beaupré Vein Clinic) positions itself as the premier destination for varicose vein treatment in Ottawa. Our clinic has the most experienced team in the Ottawa and Gatineau region, including 12 physicians, one nurse practitioner, and 12 nurses.

We offer a comprehensive range of services, including the latest advancements in ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, sclerotherapy treatments, and the VenaSeal procedure for the management of varicose veins and spider veins. For Ontario residents, consultations for varicose vein treatment at Medicart Ottawa are covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP), with additional details available directly from the clinic.

Phlebology Department

The safety and satisfaction of our patients are our top priorities. That is why each patient is evaluated by a physician before beginning phlebology treatment. The nurse’s responsibilities include completing patients’ medical questionnaires, explaining the treatment procedure, assisting the physician during the ultrasound evaluation of varicose veins, and administering sclerosing agent injections for the treatment of varicose veins according to the physician’s recommendations.

Aesthetics Department

The nurse’s responsibilities include completing patients’ medical questionnaires, assessing patients’ needs and expectations, and performing injections (Botox/fillers).
