Job description

The Registered Nurse provides nursing care according to the Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses. The role encompasses counseling, health teaching, patient advocacy, specimen collection and preparation, assisting with colposcopy procedures and treatments and triaging patient care.  

1. Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nursing of Ontario as a Registered Nurse
2. Certification in Pelvic Examination would be an asset
3. Current Laser Certification preferred
4. Demonstrated effective interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills
5. Demonstrated experience and knowledge of gynecological care, STDs and diagnoses related to Colposcopy
6. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with computer software including Meditech/EPIC, patient care inquiry, and scheduling
