The City Forum is hiring part-time Go-Kart Track Attendants to join our attractions team in Clarksville, TN. This posting is a great fit for someone who is energetic, safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable helping guests in a fast-paced entertainment environment. Go-Kart Track Attendants help guests get ready to race, explain track rules, assist with helmets and seatbelts, monitor races, and help keep the go-kart experience safe, organized, and fun from start to finish. What You'll Do • Greet guests and help create an exciting, welcoming race experience. • Explain go-kart rules and safety instructions clearly. • Help guests with helmets, seatbelts, and race readiness. • Monitor races for safety, guest behavior, and track flow. • Help load and unload racers safely and efficiently. • Watch for potential safety concerns and respond quickly. • Communicate with team members and managers when issues come up. • Keep the go-kart area clean, organized, and guest-ready. • Assist with opening, closing, and shift duties as assigned. What We're Looking For • Must be 18 years of age or older. • Friendly, energetic, and guest-focused attitude. • Strong communication skills. • Strong safety awareness and attention to detail. • Ability to stay focused under pressure. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment. • Customer service, entertainment, attractions, or recreation experience preferred. • Basic knowledge of safety procedures or first aid is a plus. • CPR or first aid certification is a plus, but not required. Physical Requirements • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. • Ability to work in an active attraction environment. • Ability to bend, reach, assist guests, and maintain stamina throughout scheduled shifts. • Ability to stay alert and attentive while monitoring races and guest activity. Schedule • Part-time. • Day, evening, and night shifts may be available. • Weekend availability, including both Saturday and Sunday, is required. • Holiday availability required, except Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. • Flexibility required. Pay • $9.50-$11.50 per hour. Appearance Standards Because this is a guest-facing role, team members are expected to follow Project 2231 appearance standards. Facial piercings are not allowed except for one nostril piercing; other facial piercings must be removed or replaced with a clear filler or retainer while working. Gauged ears must be filled and no larger than 19mm. Face and neck tattoos may not be visible while working.
