Varsity Pins at The City Forum: Is hiring part-time Lane Hosts to join our team in Clarksville, TN. This role is a great fit for someone who is friendly, dependable, outgoing, and enjoys helping guests have a fun, smooth experience. Lane Hosts help guests get set up for bowling, keep the lane area clean and ready, assist with shoes and lane setup, process transactions, and provide helpful service throughout each shift. If you enjoy working with people in a fast-paced entertainment environment, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do • Greet guests and provide friendly, professional, and responsive service. • Help guests select bowling packages and bowling shoes. • Assist with bowling lane setup. • Help guests choose bowling balls when needed. • Operate the register and process transactions. • Help manage guest questions and lane needs during their visit. • Maintain cleanliness in the bowling area, including tables, counters, chairs, and floors. • Clean bowling lanes, gutters, and ball return areas. • Work with the team to keep the guest experience smooth, organized, and fun. What We're Looking For • Must be 18 years of age or older. • Friendly, outgoing, and guest-focused attitude. • Strong customer service skills. • Professionalism and dependability. • Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members. • Ability to multitask and work independently. • Bowling operations or reservation system experience preferred. • POS and cash handling experience preferred. Physical Requirements • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. • Ability to lift and carry items up to 40 pounds. • Ability to bend, stoop, and maintain stamina throughout scheduled shifts. Schedule • Part-time, 20-25 hours per week. • Nights, weekends, and holidays required, except Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. • Open availability preferred. • Flexibility required. Pay • $10-$12 per hour. Appearance Standards Because this is a guest-facing role, team members are expected to follow Project 2231 appearance standards. Unnatural hair colors such as pink, blue, or bright/unusual reds are not permitted. Facial piercings are not allowed except for one nostril piercing; other facial piercings must be removed or replaced with a clear filler or retainer while working. Gauged ears must be filled and no larger than 19mm. Face and neck tattoos may not be visible while working.
