Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Design Intern to support our product development team by creating and maintaining part drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks. Responsibilities include developing accurate technical drawings, updating design documentation, and collaborating with engineering team members to support new product and product improvement initiatives.
This position will be onsite base in Norcross, GA or Dallas, TX.
This part-time position (15-20 hours per week) is ideal for college students pursuing a degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field who want hands-on experience in a manufacturing and product development environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain accurate 3D models, assemblies, and detailed part drawings in SolidWorks.
  • Develop and update engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and revision records.
  • Assist with product development, design improvements, and engineering change initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional team members to support new product and product enhancement projects.
  • Ensure design files and documentation are accurate, organized, and compliant with company standards.
  • Support project timelines by managing multiple assignments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, including 3D modeling and technical drawing creation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous coursework or project experience in product design or manufacturing is preferred.
