POSITION: Form & Functions Member

REPORTS TO: Form & Functions Manager

MIN REQUIREMENTS: High School Degree or Higher, 2 years of general

maintenance experience

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: Schedule to be determined by Form & Functions Manager per

the needs of the property. Emergency coverage when needed.

SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE

The Form & Functions Member will be responsible for ensuring proper completion of all maintenance

duties for the hotel. Form & Functions Member will complete all the scheduled preventative maintenance

and deep cleaning projects. The Form & Functions Member will also ensure the proper appearance of the

hotel from the entrance to the roof, maintenance of all public areas and exterior of all buildings.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

 Ensure proper completion of maintenance duties

 Direct the maintenance activities of the hotel's facilities, including deep cleaning of guest rooms,

maintenance of public areas, and deep cleaning of back of the house.

 Follow the scheduled preventative maintenance binder as outlined.

 Ensure proper appearance of the hotel from the entrance to the roof. Direct and coordinate the

maintenance of the public areas which include the parking lot and walk ways, property

landscaping areas, service and trash areas and the exterior of all buildings.

 Act as the Manger on Duty (MOD) when scheduled as such by the Form & Function Manager

 Convey the hotel's unique concept through maintaining the quality and integrity of the product

appearance and utility.

 Must be knowledgeable of all current safety practices, laws and OSHA standards

 Attend monthly safety meetings

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES

 Operations

 Send end of the day activity and accomplishment email on a daily basis to the Form &

Functions Manager and a copy to the Xperience Manager

 Understand and be able to use the property management system

 Have a good understanding of all hotel operating procedures

 Adhere to all existing and new policies and procedures pertaining to the maintenance

department

 Read front office communication logs on a daily basis when applicable

 Inform Form & Functions Manager of any unique situations, or unusual developments in

maintenance operations

 Handle guest complaints effectively

 Be willing and able to work any shift and fill in when other employees are not able to work

their scheduled shift

 Be knowledgeable of room types an standards for supplies

 Open and close rooms as required for maintenance when applicable

 Responsible for security cameras and ensure they are in working order when applicable
