Job description

Arisa Health is growing, and we are searching for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our residential facility in Searcy. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will have experience working with adults in a clinical setting to provide direct care including checking vital signs, administering medications and injections, obtaining specimens for testing as ordered, and more. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of one year's experience working in a mental health facility.

Formed by the affiliation of 4 long-standing Arkansas community mental health centers, Arisa Health leads with exceptional care that nurtures health and well-being for all. Arisa provides outpatient services, Crisis services and emergency screening, substance abuse counseling, intensive children services, intensive adult services, medical services, and residential services in 41 Arkansas counties.
This position is classified as full- time, non-exempt (hourly) and reports to the Program Coordinator.
Shift Available: Saturday and Sunday, 6a-6p
What you will do as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
  • Provide direct nursing care.
  • Implement physician orders.
  • Administer medications, draw blood, or administer other tests or procedures as ordered.
  • Complete appropriate records and documentation.

What we look for in a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
  • Arkansas LPN Licensed
  • One year experience as an LPN preferred but required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills
