LOCATION: Green Bay, WI
STANDARD HOURS: 24 hours per week, Monday thru Friday; varying schedule based on needs.
PAY RATE: $23.33
This position is grant funded through June 30, 2028.
The ELL Program Support Specialist provides administrative, instructional, and student support to the English Language Learning (ELL) program. This role focuses on improving student assessment processes and developing a centralized system for data collection, management, and reporting that integrates multiple data sources. The specialist analyzes and shares data with faculty and administration,providingactionable insights to support student success, retention, and continuous program improvement. Additionally, the role enhances digital resources for both faculty and students. As a grant-funded position, the specialist works to increase program efficiency, promote student success, and ensure compliance with educational standards and reporting requirements.
Data Management,Reporting, and Student Tracking
Develop and manage centralized systems to track student progress, including enrollment, assessments, attendance, level gains, completion, and withdrawal data
Maintainaccuratestudent records, support faculty with updates, and review attendance with follow-up to re-engage inactive students
Utilize Workday for case notes and expanded data tracking; compile and analyze survey data toidentifytrends andprovideactionable insights to leadership
Student Support, Planning and Engagement
Collaborate with the Adult Education Navigator to support andmonitorPersonal Education Plans (PEPs)
Engage with students in classroom settings to ensure goals (GED completion, Englishproficiency, and career pathways) are clearly documented, updated, and supported
Assessment Coordination, Training and Program Support
Support faculty in monitoringDRC (Data Recognition Corporation)writing folio scoring needswithfollow up with faculty to ensuretimelycompletion.
Prepare and distribute the "Next Test to Administer" recommendations. Track student progress, including National Reporting System (NRS) gains, to determineappropriate testingschedules.
Develop andmaintaintraining resources (videos, guides) for DRC, Workday, and ELL processes to improve consistency and efficiency
Maintain and update the ELL Quick Reference Manual to ensureaccuratepolicies, procedures, and faculty resources
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Associate degreein related field
Experience
At least one year of experience in administrative, student services, or a related field
Ability to clearly explain technical processes to faculty and provide culturally responsive, empathetic support to adult English Language Learners.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a grant-funded environment with evolving priorities and a focus on measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.
**An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
Computer Skills:
Microsoft office applications to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams
Ability to learn andutilizesystems specific to ELL programming to include Workday and online platforms for learning and testing
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual or multilingual language skills preferred
