About the Role:
The Industrial Electronic Electrician Maintenance Technician will construct, install, modify, maintain and/or repair industrial electronic systems and related equipment utilized within buildings, facilities and machinery by interpreting blueprints, wiring, schematic diagrams, following technical, oral or written instructions. They will analyze and correct the malfunctioning of such industrial electronic equipment as spot, flash, seam and roll welding machines, plasma arc control systems, automatic, heli-arc, induction heater and numerical control/ CNC machine systems.
What You Will Do:
  • Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/electronic systems, controls, and components of manufacturing machine tools and production equipment
  • Use knowledge, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, sketches, electrical codes and other specifications to perform work; May work without instructions or documentation
  • May design circuitry to modify control designs to repair or improve electronic controls and control systems
  • May produce schematics, sketches, or other documentation to record accomplished work
  • Diagnose, test, repair or replace malfunctioning electron controls or control related components on manufacturing machine tools and related production equipment
  • May repair or modify printed circuit cards
  • May program computer controls for production equipment and machine tools; function does not include writing numerical control programs that operate machine tools or create tool paths to manufacture products
  • May perform the functions of the Industrial Maintenance Electrician
  • May communicate directly with manufacturers' technical or engineering support to resolve machine tools or other production equipment problems
  • Employees must have the skills and knowledge to perform this work in a safe manner in compliance with published codes and manufactures recommendations
  • Uses hand-tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment

What You Have:
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass basic aptitude tests
  • Candidates should possess strong initiative, leadership ability, interpersonal and communication skills, and computer literacy
  • Must be willing to work any shift

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of solid electrical background with experience in in-depth PLC troubleshooting a plus and possess licenses and/ or certificates as required by state and local codes and ordinances

Summary Pay Range:
$36.47 - $54.71
Compensation and benefits may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market, location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance, and experience.
