Part-Time Electro-Mechanical Lab TechnicianSupport includes physical and remote installation, maintenance and support of a wide variety of network related technologies. Responsible for supporting and troubleshooting network issues with customers, both onsite and phone support. Qualifications include: Undergraduate Degree or Certificate; Excellent customer service skills; and Demonstrated experience supporting customers with network issues. Part Time Schedule - Monday to Friday, from 8:00 to 5:00 Pay rate - $25-$40/hr dependent on experience (2-15+ yrs)We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Electro-Mechanical Lab Technician to join our team.The ideal candidate will have a background in medical device assembly, electronics assembly, and experience with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).This role involves hands-on assembly, electronics soldering, and playing a pivotal role in identifying and executing process improvements. A mechanical or electromechanical background is highly desirable. CAD experience is a bonus.This position is open to candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience, but we also welcome applications from individuals with extensive experience who are interested in part-time work.ResponsibilitiesAssemble and test electro-mechanical devices and components.Perform electronics soldering tasks.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems.Follow GDP and GLP guidelines to ensure accurate documentation and compliance.Identify and execute process improvements to enhance lab efficiency.Perform routine maintenance and calibration of lab equipment, including environmental chambers, vibration testers, and oscilloscopes.Assist in the development and implementation of lab protocols and procedures.Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve processes and product designsDocument procedures and results according to industry standards.Minimum Qualification:Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical device assembly, electronics assembly, or a related fieldHigh school diploma or equivalent.Mechanical or electromechanical background is a plus.CAD experience is a bonus.Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication skills.
