Golf Cart Attendant Job Description

Position Overview:
The Golf Cart Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service while maintaining and preparing the golf cart fleet. This role ensures that members and guests have a positive experience by keeping carts clean, charged, and ready for use, while also assisting with various golf operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Prepare golf carts for daily use, including cleaning, detailing, charging, and staging.
  • Return carts to storage after use and perform post-use inspections.
  • Check fuel/electric charge levels and perform light maintenance (e.g., adding water to batteries, filling tires).
  • Keep cart barn, staging areas, and surrounding grounds neat, safe, and organized.
  • Assist golfers with loading/unloading golf bags and provide directions or course information.
  • Report any cart damage, malfunctions, or safety concerns promptly.
  • Collect, clean, and return clubs as needed.
  • Assist with driving range operations (ball collection, washing, and restocking).
  • Support golf shop or tournament operations as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • Friendly, customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills.
