Job description

Provides a variety of quality radiographic imaging including under the general direction of a physician, fluoroscopy on all age groups served by the entity insuring the principles of ALARA are achieved. Participates in the department quality improvement processes insuring a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. Depending on departmental business needs, this position will support department's patient workflow such as front desk duties, phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs, patient in-take information, and other duties as assigned and supported by scope of practice.Estimated pay range for this position is $29.41 - $38.23 / hour depending on experience.

Degrees:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support.
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist.
  • ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Six month experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Must complete and maintain in the Career Ladder Portfolio in order to be considered for Radiology Tech 2.
  • Depending on departmental business needs, may be required to be competent in skills such as vitals signs, phlebotomy, EKG, front desk duties including quick registration, etc.
  • Change agility and flexibility a must.

Minimum Required Experience: 1 Year
