Provides a variety of quality radiographic imaging including under the general direction of a physician, fluoroscopy on all age groups served by the entity insuring the principles of ALARA are achieved. Participates in the department quality improvement processes insuring a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. Depending on departmental business needs, this position will support department's patient workflow such as front desk duties, phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs, patient in-take information, and other duties as assigned and supported by scope of practice.Estimated pay range for this position is $29.41 - $38.23 / hour depending on experience.
Degrees:
- High School Diploma or GED
Licenses & Certifications:
- Basic Life Support.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist.
- ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography.
Additional Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology.
- Six month experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Must complete and maintain in the Career Ladder Portfolio in order to be considered for Radiology Tech 2.
- Depending on departmental business needs, may be required to be competent in skills such as vitals signs, phlebotomy, EKG, front desk duties including quick registration, etc.
- Change agility and flexibility a must.
