JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Cardiovascular Technologist

CV TECH

Full-Time

Cardiovascular Technologist candidates will have the following job responsibilities:

  • Under general supervision, makes preparation, operates equipment and assists physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures special procedures; performs hemodynamic monitoring and other duties as assigned.
  • Performs radiographic procedures of a highly specialized nature to demonstrate cardiac and vascular patency in a variety of anatomical parts.
  • Recognizes the importance of supporting the team in general care of the patient and family member.
  • Supports general efficient function of the lab by assisting in transporting patients to or from the Lab.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

Cardiovascular Technologist

Full-Time

Cardiovascular Technologist candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

  • 1 year of Previous Specials, Vascular, or Cardiac Cath Lab Tech experience required
  • Florida State Registered Radiologic Technician
  • Associate Degree or quivalent in Radiological Technology
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) registry, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credential required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • ACLS must be obtained within 45 days of hire date
