Job Description
The bookings associate oversees the hair, makeup, and manicurist scheduling for all Felix and Felix.co shoots and special events.ย  The BA serves as a liaison between fashion editors, model agencies, and hair and makeup talent. In addition, the bookings associate is responsible for compiling the monthly special credits.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversees hair and makeup bookings for allย Felix and Felix.co shoots, special events, and special bookings
  • Meets with the fashion editor to discuss the direction and list of preferred hair, makeup, and manicure options for a photo shoot
  • Compile monthly special credits list containing all hair, makeup, models, manicure, production, set design, and location credits
  • Constantly update the editor and photographer on the list of hair and makeup options for a photo shoot
  • Distribute call sheets to hair, makeup, and model agents
  • Ensure that hair and makeup credits and brand attachments are current
  • Verify that production and special credits are correct on editorial layouts
  • Request model releases for all editorial shoots to submit to rights and permissions
  • Serve as a liaison between the rights and permissions department and model agents to secure additional usage for existing photographs
  • Seek new hair and makeup talent

Qualifications
  • A passion for women's economic opportunities
  • Must be a full or part-time student and working toward a degree or a college graduate and have 1+ years of bookings experience
  • Must be eligible to receive school credit and commit to 2-3 days a week
    for 3 months
  • In-depth knowledge of fashion models and photographers, hair and makeup talent, fashion news and personalities, trends, and history
  • Should be detail-oriented, able to work well under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
  • Must possess excellent communication and organization skills
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously
  • An understanding of the online interactive experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment with competing deadlines and priorities.
  • Integrity, honesty, openness and a willingness to operate as a team player
  • Must possess a keen awareness of current events
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft suite and InDesign, among other programs
  • Must be college graduate and have 1+ years of bookings experience
