Job description

MacMore is looking to fill a part-time position for an Experienced Lead eDiscovery Consultant/ Project Manager for a pending contract award at the Farm Credit Administration.
Location:
Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, with primary concentration at the FCA headquarters office in McLean, Virginia
Lead eDiscovery Consultant/Project Manager
The Lead eDiscovery Consultant/Project Manager shall be the primary point of contact for matters related to the execution of this SOW between the Contractor's project team and the COR.
Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and facilitate weekly meetings with the COR to review the project's progress including but not limited to completed tasks, upcoming tasks and any issues.
  • Responsible for the management, coordination, scheduling, deliverables, and communication of this task order, and develop a Project Management Plan (PMP) including milestones, risks, and reporting cadence.
  • Develop and assist in pilot testing to validate workflows, tooling configuration and standard operating procedure (SOP) accuracy. Monitor performance, identify issues, and refine processes before full rollout.
  • As directed by the COR, participate in technical reviews and demos.
  • Conduct detailed quality control on eDiscovery lifecycle. Document quality control assessments.
  • Adhere to FCA's policies, processes, and procedures in performance of all tasks, including but not limited to change management, vulnerability management, records management, privacy, and security.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience managing/leading eDiscovery teams
  • Experience in architecting and implementing eDiscovery workflows
  • Experience implementing procedures that deal with sensitive data
  • Experience working in federal or highly regulated environments
  • Experience communicating with business and technical stakeholders at all levels
  • Knowledge of legal tech tools available in the market, including but not limited to Microsoft Purview and Relativity

Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of recent experience (education may not be substituted for experience) that includes:
    • Minimum 5 years of experience as an eDiscovery Project Manager
    • Minimum 5 years of experience as an eDiscovery Technical eDiscovery Specialist
  • Expert experience leading, administering, configuring, tuning, troubleshooting, and improving eDiscovery program area responsibilities.
  • Experience and working knowledge of Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) standards
  • Proficient in technical writing and documentation
  • Experience in data governance, retention and data systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview and related Microsoft 365 compliance tools
  • Experience with legal hold, preservation, and data-collection best practices
  • Experience in information security, access control and auditing practices
Familiar with federal government procurement process and requirements
