  •  Support back-end Drupal development, including Drupal APIs, the entity system, MySQL/MariaDB, database interactions, and query optimization.
  •  Perform functional and automated testing, troubleshoot defects and integration issues, and optimize Drupal configurations and solutions for quality and performance.
  •  Evaluate and remediate accessibility issues and support compliance with applicable accessibility standards and requirements.
  •  Perform application maintenance, including security patching, vulnerability remediation, minor and major Drupal upgrades, version control, and preparation of thorough technical documentation.

Requirements

  •  Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of senior-level Drupal development experience.
  •  Demonstrated experience with Drupal module development and customization, including views, rules, and core/custom configuration.
  • Experience with Drupal theming and Twig, along with a strong understanding of web-design principles.
  • Strong understanding of Drupal APIs, including Hooks, Services, Events, and related Drupal development concepts.
  • Back-end experience with MySQL/MariaDB, query optimization, and Drupal's entity system.
  • Front-end development experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, or comparable version-control tools and repositories, along with an understanding of Agile and DevSecOps practices.
  • Experience working effectively as part of multidisciplinary project teams, with strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  •  Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a NACI or higher-level investigation/clearance.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Section 508, WCAG, and other web accessibility and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with PHP and modern Drupal development practices.
  • Experience using Composer for Drupal dependency and package management.
  • Experience integrating Drupal with APIs, authentication services, search platforms, analytics tools, databases, or other enterprise systems.
  • Experience supporting Drupal solutions in federal government or other large, compliance-driven enterprise environments.
