Job description

ndependence Veterinary Clinic is seeking a part-time Dog Bather to join our caring and dedicated team. This role plays an important part in supporting our grooming department and ensuring pets feel clean, comfortable, and safe throughout their grooming experience.
What to Expect
As you join our mission, expect to be supported in your work and home life with:
  • Employee referral bonus. Earn $1,000 when you refer a new team member to one of our 180+ partner hospitals across the country.
  • Opportunity to gain hands-on grooming experience and grow within the role

Salary: $15.00 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30 am-3 pm
Key Responsibilities:
  • Bathing and drying dogs
  • Nail trims
  • Teeth brushing
  • Ear cleaning
  • Brushing and basic coat care
  • Assisting groomer as needed and maintaining a clean work area
  • Ensuring pets are handled calmly and safely at all times

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with dogs and cats required
  • Grooming experience is a plus
  • Comfort handling dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and able to follow instructions
