Job Summary

· Drives mobile dog gym van to clients and provides exercise sessions for their dogs

General Accountabilities

  • Travels to client's location and walks dogs to and from van
  • Refers to dog notes and communicates with clients to learn needs and abilities of each specific dog
  • Walks and exercises dogs inside mobile gym, training dogs to use equipment and providing necessary encouragement/ motivation for an optimal workout
  • Provides dogs with water as needed, and observes them to detect fatigue
  • Cleans, organizes, maintains work area and disinfects gym equipment between sessions, and disposes of dog waste properly
  • Provides clients with updates about their dog’s activities, including notes, photos, and videos, and collect payments

Job Qualifications

· Prior experience handling dogs, including those with aggression issues or disabilities

· Knowledgeable about animal/human fitness

· Responsible and capable of working independently

· Possess clean driving record

· Energetic and friendly, with outstanding customer service skills

· Ability to lift 50+lbs
