Shift/s Available: PART TIME WEEKEND Saturday and Sunday 7am-4pm and 4am-7pm

We currently serve over 2,000 quick service restaurants across Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan and Western Pennsylvania as well as national retail and sandwich makers!

Compensation & Benefits:
$27.24+ per hour starting pay, paid weekly.

Job Summary:
Responsibilities include the movement of trailers in, out, and around the New Horizons Baking Company facility. When needed, the CDL-A Driver will stage trailers and/or meet Metraco Transportation drivers at an off-site location.
Specific Responsibilities Relating to Food Safety, Legality, and Quality
  • Must hold a valid CDL-A
  • Must hold a valid DOT Medical Card
  • Must be able to pass a DOT pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Must be able to pass DOT random drug and alcohol tests
  • Must be registered in the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
  • Report any safety issues, injuries, accidents, or incidents of damage to the Metraco Transportation Management Team in a timely manner
  • Follow all DOT Rules and Regulations, including 60-hour/7-day work rules
  • Follow all Metraco Transportation Company Policies

Responsibilities
Must be able to safety operate a Class 8 semi-tractor, Ottawa Yard Spotter and semi-trailers safety.
Must be able to communicate efficiently with dock personnel to safely move/dock semi-trailers at specified dock doors for loading/unloading.
Must be ablet o safely remove and dock semi-trailers at the yard waste station on the New Horizons Baking Company Facility.
