At MKBC, we save lives every day by providing blood products to hospitals in PA and NJ. The part-time Distribution Courier position in Bethlehem supports the MKBC Bethlehem location through vehicle operations and transportation of blood products to our hospital partners. The anticipated hourly wage starts at $15/hr and is commensurate with experience. In addition, Miller-Keystone offers the following to all part-time employees:

What you will be doing:

  • Product Transfers and Returns
  • Vehicle Inspection
  • Blood Product Delivery
  • Stat Orders

What you will bring to the role:

  • High school diploma or GED required and 6 months experience delivery or as a prior courier preferred.
  • Experience in Outlook (preferred)
  • The ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written, and listening) and customer service to interact with all levels of employees, hospital partners, and general public.
  • Strong work ethic including attendance, trust, flexibility, and reliability.
  • A passion to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changing priorities to meet the needs of the blood center.

Additional information:

This position reports directly to the Lead Distribution Courier in the Distribution Department and will be located at our Bethlehem center. To best meet the needs of our donors and community, this position works a variable schedule which may include:

  • Part-time schedule coverage every weekend with one day during the week. Start/end times vary depending on the needs of team and partners (approximately 15-25 hours per week)
  • A valid driving license and clear driving record are required.
  • Additionally, the first 6 weeks of training will be part-time hours, Monday-Friday, occasional weekends with flex days back during the week.
