Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a part-time dental assistant, with the potential for the position to become full-time in the future.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing chair-side assistance to the dentist, sterilizing and preparing instruments, taking patient x-rays, and performing other administrative duties as needed. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for helping others. Must be bilingual, fluent in both ENGLISH AND SPANISH (SPANISH IS A MUST)
Days and hours: Mondays and Thursdays, 9AM-5:30PM, and Saturdays 8AM-3:30PM(as needed)
          
Compensation based on experience, starting payrate $21 per hour 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide chair-side assistance to the dentist during dental procedures
  • Maintain patient records and update patient information
  • Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
  • Prepare patients for treatment
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care.
  • Take and process X-rays
  • Keep the dental office clean and organized
  •  Ensure infection control and maintain a clean workspace 

Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a dental assistant (1-2 years)
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
