Job description

Do you own your own SUV or minivan and would like to make extra income delivering small FedEx packages on the weekend (extra weekday routes available)? Utilize your own vehicle to generate income at DW Freeze Services, Inc., an Independent Service Provider for FedEx Ground. We are seeking customer-focused, high-energy drivers to provide excellent customer service and delivery service out of the Norfolk, VA terminal with all deliveries conducted in Virginia Beach.
No Experience Necessary!  You just to need to be motivated and willing to learn!
Job Includes:
• Weekend positions available.  Additional days will be available for those that work both weekend days
• $120 per day minimum based on the number of stops (DEPENDENT on YOUR work ethic, ability and vehicle size)(Plus Mileage)
• On the job training available for highly motivated candidates.
Personell Requirements
• At least 21 years of age
• Meet Fed Ex hiring standards
• 1 year working experience as a delivery driver (preferred, not required)
• No DUI's and no more than one minor ticket in the past three (3) years
• No accidents
• Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements
• Must possess an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) based on hiring standards
• Must be able to SAFELY operate delivery vehicles.
• Must be able to work a full day delivering packages ranging from envelopes up to 25 lbs.

Daily Duties include but not limited to:
• Perform daily Pre & Post inspection on vehicle
• Efficiently pack vehicle for deliveries
• Work independently but assist other drivers as part of a team as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with operating officer
• Accurately operate scanner/effectively track delivery process
• Consistently follow route and time schedule
• Must have Smart Phone or Tablet (with data connectivity, IE: cell service)

Vehicle Requirements 
• must be 14 years old or newer (FedEx requirement)
• Preferred larger SUV or Mini-van (other vehicles will be considered on case by case basis)
• Current Registration. 
• Current State Inspection.
• Current Insurance.
• Generally clean and serviceable appearance.
