Job description

The Continuing Education and Workforce Development department is seeking part-time, non-credit instructors to facilitate soft skills and computer software training for employees of area businesses. Course topics include, but are not limited to Artificial Intelligence, Customer Service, Communications, Problem Solving, Time Management, Team Building, Supervisory Training, Microsoft Office and more.

This is a part-time, hourly position.

Example of Duties:

  • Facilitate trainings, develop and/or modify curriculum as needed
  • Fulfill administrative tasks to include attendance, following college policies
  • Experience with video communication platforms (Zoom and WebEx)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Flexible schedule includes days, evenings and/or weekends
  • In-person instruction, as well as, virtual instruction
  • ESL experience a plus, not required
  • Excellent presentation skills a must

Supplemental Information:

  • Class times and days varies to fit the needs of the employer. Instructors are not required to have complete availability of days and times.

The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.

Compensation: Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The hourly pay range for this position is $40-$50
