Job Purpose:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time Housekeeper to support a busy household. The primary purpose of this role is to maintain a clean, organized, and smoothly running home environment. This position focuses on routine household tasks such as dishes, laundry, and light cleaning, allowing the family to focus on their daily responsibilities. Occasional childcare support may be required as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Housekeeping Duties

  • Wash and put away dishes; maintain a clean kitchen area
  • Perform family laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing, towels, and bedding
  • Complete light housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, wiping surfaces, and tidying common areas
  • Maintain general organization of the home, including decluttering and resetting spaces
  • Take out trash and assist with basic household upkeep

Household Support:

  • Assist with basic meal prep or kitchen organization if needed
  • Help keep household supplies stocked and organized
  • Perform occasional errands such as light shopping or picking up essentials (if required)

Occasional Childcare:

  • Provide childcare support on an as-needed basis
  • Supervise children for short periods while parents are occupied
  • Assist with simple tasks such as snacks, playtime, or keeping children engaged
