Job Summary
The Part-Time Poker Dealer is responsible for dealing various poker games in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring fair play and an enjoyable experience for all guests at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa.
Job Responsibilities
Deal poker games accurately and efficiently according to established casino rules and procedures, including Texas Hold'em, Omaha, and other popular variants.
 Manage the game effectively, including shuffling cards, dealing hands, collecting and paying bets, and monitoring pot sizes.
Maintain a high level of customer service, interacting with players in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
 Clearly and accurately communicate game rules, procedures, and payouts to players.
Resolve player disputes and address questions or concerns in a fair and impartial manner, escalating issues to floor supervisors when necessary.
 Maintain awareness of game integrity and promptly report any suspicious activity or irregular play to management.
Adhere to all gaming regulations, internal controls, and company policies.
 Assist with table maintenance, including chip and card inventory checks, as needed.
Work effectively as part of a team with other dealers, floor supervisors, and casino staff.
Job Qualifications
 Previous experience as a poker dealer in a casino or professional setting preferred.
Thorough knowledge of various poker games, rules, and procedures, including the ability to deal multiple variants accurately.
 Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for efficient card handling.
Strong mathematical skills for accurate bet collection, payout calculation, and pot management.
 Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
 Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
 Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
