Job description

Burn Boot Camp Rochester North is looking for a caring and compassionate Child Care Team Member who has experience caring for children ages eight weeks to twelve years old. We are committed to providing top quality care and a welcoming environment that reflects the Burn commitment to community. Our goal is to enhance the lives of every child that attends our facility and ensure a safe, engaging, and clean environment.


Duties:

- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children in a 45 minute daycare style setting.

- Implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs to promote childhood development.
- Supervise children during playtime
- Provide basic caregiving tasks such as games, crafts, and play.
- Manage children's behavior and promote positive social interactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized play area.


Qualifications
- Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or related field
- Knowledge of childhood development stages and appropriate caregiving techniques

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred
- Experience working with children in a daycare or a preschool setting is a plus

  • Must be 18+ to work with children in a child care facility
