About the Role:
Love My Bilingual Angels, GFD in Ridgewood, NY is looking for a warm, nurturing Part Time Daycare Assistant to join our team! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children in a bilingual, enriching environment. If you have a passion for early childhood education and love working with kids, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities and play
  • Support bilingual learning by encouraging communication in both languages
  • Assist with daily routines including meals, nap time, and hygiene
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized daycare
  • Communicate positively with parents and guardians during drop-off and pick-up
  • Assist lead teachers with lesson plans and structured learning activities
  • Monitor children's behavior and development, reporting concerns to supervisors
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or other language) strongly preferred
  • Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with young children
  • Ability to pass a background check and meet state childcare requirements
