About This Role

Happy Haven Childcare is looking to add part time classroom assistant teachers to our facility. Classroom assistant teachers provide valuable support to our facility by providing extra supervision both in the classroom and playground areas, assisting with activities for children ages 0-5yrs old, assisting with maintaining the cleanliness of the classroom areas and general facility, assisting children with morning educational and personal-care routines, and assisting families with arrival to the facility daily. The morning shift time is 6:30am-10:30am. There is an opportunity to add more hours to this shift for the right candidate!


What You'll Do
  • Assist teachers with classroom activities
  • Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the classroom area
  • Assist with morning care routines
  • Supervise children ages 0-5 yrs old.

Requirements
  • Successfully pass criminal records / background check and fingerprinting.
  • Attend all scheduled work shifts on time
  • Have a willingness to work with a variety of age groups 0-5yrs old
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
