While you will not be directly responsible for handling dogs, you will work in and around dogs daily and must be comfortable in an active pet care environment.This role requires someone who is extremely thorough, detail-oriented, and efficient. You will be responsible for properly cleaning and sanitizing dog areas, equipment, and facility spaces using the correct products in the correct locations at the correct times. Attention to detail and chemical awareness are essential to ensure safety for both pets and staff.You will work independently for much of your shift, managing your own tasks, pace, and productivity. This role requires strong focus, self-supervision, and the ability to stay task-oriented without getting distracted. You are expected to work efficiently and move at a steady pace to complete all cleaning responsibilities thoroughly and on time.Additional tasks may include dishes, laundry, and general facility upkeep. Team members must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, twist, lift or carry up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive physical tasks.While this role does not involve direct dog handling responsibilities, working safely around dogs of all sizes is required.
