OBJECTIVES

The Global Donor Relations & Database Coordinator plays an essential role in advancing the mission of INSIGHT Church, TLN Media, and James Ward Ministries by providing exceptional donor care, maintaining the integrity of organizational data, and supporting strategic ministry initiatives.

This position combines relationship management, database administration, and operational support to strengthen engagement with donors, ministry partners, members, and guests. The ideal candidate enjoys serving people, has exceptional attention to detail, and is passionate about leveraging systems and data to help expand Kingdom impact around the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the cultivation and strengthening of relationships with donors, ministry partners, and supporters.
  • Coordinate donor acknowledgments, thank-you communications, tax receipts, and stewardship initiatives.
  • Assist with donor retention efforts by ensuring timely, thoughtful, and personalized communication.
  • Prepare donor reports, giving summaries, and stewardship insights for leadership.
  • Assist with donor research, campaign tracking, fundraising initiatives, and grant reporting.
  • Support secure donation counting procedures while maintaining confidentiality and financial integrity.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for donor, member, and engagement databases.
  • Maintain accurate donor and constituent records across all affiliated organizations.
  • Perform routine database audits, duplicate resolution, data cleanup, and quality assurance.
  • Maintain accurate information regarding:
    • Organization affiliation
    • Campus affiliation
    • Household relationships
    • Demographics
    • Membership and engagement journey
    • Ensure all database records support effective communication, reporting, stewardship, and organizational compliance.
  • Generate reports and dashboards related to:
    • Membership growth
    • Donor engagement
    • Attendance
    • Giving activity
    • Digital subscribers
    • Organizational impact
    • Prepare confidential daily and weekly leadership reports highlighting important people updates and engagement metrics.
    • Provide analytical insights that support ministry planning and strategic decision-making.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Donor Relations.
  • Coordinate ministry mailings across all affiliated organizations.
  • Build and maintain online event registrations.
  • Coordinate registration teams and guest check-in volunteers for ministry events.
  • Assist with ministry events, campaigns, and special projects.
  • Manage visitor and connection workflows by accurately routing digital connection forms to appropriate ministry teams.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls with professionalism and hospitality.
  • Welcome guests and visitors, ensuring every person feels valued and cared for.
  • Support the Director of Experience by preparing ministry environments, organizing printed materials, and maintaining welcoming spaces for weekend services and ministry events.

  • High School, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Data Analytics, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is a part-time position averaging 10-15 hours per week, typically scheduled across two days each week, with occasional flexibility based on ministry needs.
INSIGHT Church operates Sunday through Thursday. Staff members serve during weekend worship experiences and collaborate in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment where adaptability and teamwork are essential.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Compensation
Compensation is based on qualifications and experience and is determined in accordance with the organization's established hourly pay range and applicable Illinois pay transparency requirements.
Continued employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a 30-day introductory period.
