We are currently looking for a Personal Assistant for The Blake at Flowood


Primary Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant:

  • Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.ย 
  • Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
  • ย Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.ย 
  • Light housekeeping and laundry.ย 
  • Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
  • Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.ย 


Requirements

  • Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve othersย 
  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalentย 
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required unless state requirementย 
  • CPR/First Aid, preferredย 
  • Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidaysย 
  • Experience working with older adults preferredย
