Description
The Rehabilitation Services Aide supports physical, occupational, and speech therapists by preparing patients for treatment and completing routine, supervised tasks that allow clinicians to focus on patient care. This role also helps maintain an organized, efficient therapy environment and supports daily administrative and operational needs.
Requirements
• Assist with preparing patients for therapy, including transport, positioning, and setup under therapist direction
• Support therapists during treatment sessions with equipment setup and patient assistance as directed
• Perform administrative duties such as scheduling, data entry, recordkeeping, and managing patient charts
• Coordinate scheduling to support therapist productivity and communicate conflicts to clinical staff
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized department, including sanitizing equipment and stocking supplies
• Monitor inventory and order supplies with approval
• Communicate patient concerns or changes in condition to appropriate staff promptly
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
• Participate in training, meetings, and quality improvement activities
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Other: Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills; basic computer proficiency; ability to work independently and as part of a team; physical ability to assist patients and perform active work, including lifting, walking, and repetitive movements
