About the Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional Voice/Piano/Guitar teacher to teach part-time for our Lake Forest, CA school Glee Music Academy. We are looking for teachers who will instruct IN PERSON at our studio! The ability to teach additional instruments (bass guitar, ukulele, etc.) is a plus.

We are currently looking for a teacher to take over students from a departing teacher with lessons within our operating hours of Monday-Friday 1-8pm and Saturdays 9am-2pm. Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability. Ideal voice candidates will have experience working with students through voice changes/maturity. Preferred experience with students with mental and intellectual disabilities, some of which are homebound and taught virtually or in-home.

Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.

Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $32-$36/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 30 days on the job. Health benefit packages are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble.
