AEROBICS - GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
Do you enjoy serving others as a group fitness instructor and working in a fast-paced environment? The Columbia Association Group Fitness Department is looking for friendly, customer service-oriented and highly motivated group fitness instructors to join our team! We are looking for instructors to teach the following classes: Aqua, Aqua Cycle, Barre, Cardio, Cycle, Dance, Kickboxing, Les Mills, Mat Pilates, Strength Training, Arthritis Classes (land & aqua) and General Group Fitness.
The Group Fitness instructor is a part time position and is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment at all times for our members and guests while teaching a high quality, energizing group fitness class. Columbia Association's group fitness instructors will exemplify and support CA's Mission, Vision and Values.
Requirements: Current CPR/AED certification. Require ACE, AFAA, AEA, WITS, NETA, or AFPA-accreditation as a group fitness Instructor. ACE or AFAA preferred. Online Training requirements as assigned by the Training Department. Other specific licenses and certifications specific to the position.
The pay range for this position is $17.00 to $28.00/per hour. The actual pay rate offered will depend on the overall qualifications of the individual applicant for the position and the amount budgeted for the role. CA offers a positive, fun work environment and a generous benefits package. Part-time benefits include a free Fit & Play membership, Wellness benefits w/Perks and some paid leave.
