How you will contribute

  • Lead and manage client engagements across global trade and customs, including customs compliance, tariff and duty mitigation, supply chain planning, and risk management.
  • Advise clients on U.S. customs matters such as classification, valuation, country of origin, and related planning strategies; experience with first sale for export programs is highly valued.
  • Serve as a primary client contact on assigned engagements, delivering clear, actionable, and executive-ready advice.
  • Oversee project teams, including scoping workplans, managing timelines and budgets, and reviewing deliverables for quality and consistency.
  • Support business development efforts through proposal development, solution design, and participation in client discussions alongside senior leadership.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the Global Trade platform by helping develop new offerings, tools, and internally scalable best practices.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering technical growth and strong consulting habits.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex trade issues into practical business guidance.
  • Direct experience with first sale for export planning and implementation.
  • Exposure to customs audits, enforcement actions, or the design and execution of compliance programs.
  • Industry experience in sectors with complex global trade footprints (e.g., manufacturing, retail/consumer, industrials, pharmaceuticals, technology).
