Batteries Plus in Washington, PA is looking to hire a part time sales associate to join our engaging work environment. As a Sales Associate your primary responsibilities would include greeting customers, having the knowledge necessary to answer customer questions, while also having the technical ability to perform basic repairs on different devices. (watch battery, key fob battery) To ensure success, we will provide you with an all encompassing training course to make sure you are prepared in any situation. Sales Associate / Customer Service Duties:

As a Sales associate you will need to be able to multitask by doing a bit of everything in the store. Your main duties will include assisting retail and commercial customers in the purchase of batteries and light bulbs, replacing batteries in watches, cell phones and cars, and maintain proper inventory by stocking and facing shelves as well as maintaining the store appearance by cleaning when necessary.

Tech Duties:

For technical duties, you will be trained to work on cell phones, tablets, and other devices. You will also help maintain proper inventory and receive, pack, and ship devices.

Qualifications:

Customer service experience preferred. Demonstrated technical aptitude. Able to quickly pick up on new processes and technologies without a lot of guidance.
Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to effectively manage and track multiple commitments; effectively prioritize, follow up, and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and customer service skills; strong customer service focus; ability to inform and talk to customers.
Good technical writing skills preferred
Working conditions are typical for a retail environment
This position requires the employee to regularly use hands to handle or touch electronic products. The position also requires the employee to regularly use a computer and other office equipment, as well as tools.
This position requires lifting 10-20 lbs on a regular and frequent basis, 50 lbs on an occasional basis, and more than 50 lbs on an infrequent basis.
