As a Farm Co-op Student, you will carry out our Mission of Love by performing agricultural production work on a diversified beef cattle and crop farm.

Our Farm Co-op Student is responsible for the following:

  • Learn and assist all aspects of beef cattle production, including but not limited to feeding, health care, heat detection and breeding, calving, developing and preparing cattle for show and sale and equipment and fence repair.
  • Learn and assist all aspects of crop production, including but not limited to equipment operations and maintenance and planting.
  • Learn how to maximize production output, achieving optimum feed efficiency, conduct current and accepted herd health care programs and implement cost effective production.
  • Attend meetings to review safety and equipment operating procedures.

What You Have:

  • Current high school student.
  • A valid PA Driver's License.
  • Good written, organizational and basic computer skills.
