Job description

Reeder Distributors is seeking a part-time detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst to join our Accounting and Finance team. This role is responsible for gathering and compiling information required of new and existing customers to allow management to evaluate their credit worthiness, minimize financial risk, and support profitable business growth. The ideal candidate will have strong financial analysis skills, sound judgment, strong attention to detail, high level organization, and the ability to build positive working relationships with both internal teams and customers.SHIFT AND SCHEDULEMonday through Friday, with a flexible schedule based on business needs.COMPENSATION:Up to $25 per hour, based on experience ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESReach out to new and current customers for required informationEffectively compile necessary information for Customer account reviews, including completing the Credit Review Matrix with accurate information in a timely mannerReach out to associated credit references when applicablePrepare the information for the review by the Credit Manager in an organized and efficient mannerPrepare credit analyses and present recommendations to leadership when necessary.Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Accounting to resolve credit-related issues while maintaining strong customer relationships, including the accuracy and completion of required informationReview and maintain customer credit files to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.Assist with collection strategies for high-risk or past-due accounts when needed.Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations related to commercial credit practices.Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.Two or more years of experience in credit analysis, commercial credit, accounts receivable, or a related financial role.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite; ability to operate and effectively maneuver through different software is preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.Why Join Reeder Distributors?At Reeder Distributors, we believe our people are our greatest asset.
