We are seeking a detail-oriented and intellectually curious Consumer Research Analyst to support the development of actionable insights that inform marketing and business decisions. This role is responsible for executing end-to-end consumer research and translating findings into clear, compelling recommendations.

Responsibilities:

Consumer Research Execution

· Lead the full research process from start to finish, including vendor management, objective setting, methodology design, survey development, fielding, analysis, and reporting

· Design and execute quantitative consumer research studies, ensuring high-quality, unbiased survey construction

· Utilize DIY research platforms (e.g., Quantilope, AYTM, etc.) to enable agile and cost-effective insights generation

Insights Development

· Analyze research results to identify meaningful patterns, trends, and actionable insights

· Translate data into clear, concise, and compelling narratives that inform marketing, brand, and innovation strategies

· Connect consumer insights to broader business questions and opportunities

· Assist in maintaining and improving internal reporting systems (PowerBI)

Consumer Research:

· Incorporate additional data sources (e.g., syndicated data such as NielsenIQ, Circana/IRI, SPINS) where relevant to strengthen insights (experience with these sources is a plus)

· Support synthesis of multiple inputs (primary research, secondary data, internal data) into cohesive recommendations

Data Analysis & Reporting:

· Analyze and interpret POS (e.g., NielsenIQ, Circana/IRi, SPINS), panel (Numerator) and foodservice data (Datassential, Circana) to uncover trends, opportunities, and risks

· Develop clear, visually compelling reports and dashboards to communicate findings

· Present category performance and insights to retail and foodservice customers

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

· Work closely with the Research & Analytics team to ensure alignment on methodologies and insights development

· Partner cross-functionally with other AFM teams (e.g., Marketing, Retail, Foodservice) to understand business needs and deliver relevant insights

· Collaborate with external research vendors as needed

Communication & Influence:

· Prepare clear, visually compelling reports and presentations

· Present findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders with confidence and clarity

· Tailor communication style to different audiences to ensure insights are understood and actionable.

Administrative:

· Manage project budget and timelines

· Ability to travel up to 10%

Education/Experience Requirements:

· Three plus years of direct experience in managing consumer research

· Demonstrated experience in survey development, project management and report delivery

· Experience with POS and panel data is a plus.

· Minimum bachelor’s degree in marketing, economics, statistics, social sciences. Master degree is a plus.
