This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, headquartered in Washington, District of Columbia.

Qualifications:WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following:
  • Developing and evaluating complex health information policy, program implementation, or technology-related options and recommendations, including addressing emerging or sensitive issues with broad program implications.
  • Preparing and drafting a wide range of written and oral communications, including policy analyses, regulations, program guidance, reports, presentations, and briefing materials for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to senior leaders, stakeholders, partners, and collaborative workgroups on health information policy, healthcare programs, public health initiatives, health system improvement efforts, and/or health information technology initiatives.
  • Researching and analyzing facts against health care laws and regulations and drafting findings.
